CPRI patch cords are outdoor patch cords used to connect baseband units (BBU/REC) and radio frequency units (RRU/RE). They are specifically designed for transmitting the CPRI (Common Public Radio Interface) protocol and support high-speed digital radio frequency signal transmission.

Primary Usages and Applications
1. FTTA (Fiber-to-the-Antenna)
BBU (Baseband Unit): Located at the bottom of the tower (in a cabinet or "shelter"). This processes the data.

RRU / RRH (Remote Radio Unit/Head): Located at the top of the tower, right next to the antennas. This converts the data into radio waves.
